This series is based on my experiences with infertility and multiples in birth and in loss. It depicts the visual imagery of pregnancy, ultrasounds, medical treatments, cosmic creation and becoming the vehicle for a being. I adorn the work with beads, rhinestones, glitter and charms symbolic of their importance, and spiritual significance, referencing ritual objects in Judaism. This series in tandem with the installation, Birth and Loss Ritual Healing, 2023 address the loss that many women weather in silence.
